1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, four unknown persons riding on two motorcycles came from behind and at the point of pistol looted the informant and others.

4. It is submitted that on behalf of the petitioner that the name of the petitioner has transpired during course of investigation. No looted articles has been recovered from the possession of this petitioner. The motorcycle which was recovered from the spot, does not belong to the petitioner.

5. However, learned APP for the State vehemently opposed the prayer of bail and has submitted that there is allegation that this petitioner was involved in the said loot and the petitioner has got five criminal antecedents.

6. Considering the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Shishir/- U T
