2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Pupri P.S. Case No. 500 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B), 201/34 of the IPC.

3. As per allegation, the marriage of daughter of the informant was solemnized with co-accused Radhe Mahto. After marriage, the accused persons including the petitioner subjected her to cruelty for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry of Rs. 5 lakhs. On 18.11.2023, the informant came to know that the accused persons, after committed murder of his daughter, cremated the dead body.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He is a person of clean antecedent. He has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65231 of 2024(2) dt.23-09-2024 2/2 further that the petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased, having no concern with day-to-day affairs of the couple. He is an old man suffering from several ailments. As a matter of fact, the daughter of the informant died due to diarrhea and loss of water. The husband of the deceased had informed the family members of the deceased about her death. The petitioner is under custody since 11.07.2024.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances as well as the fact that the petitioner is an old person of clean antecedent, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Pupri, Sitamarhi in connection with Pupri P.S. Case No. 500 of 2023, subject to the following condition:- (i) The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
