2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8 and 20(b) (ii)(B) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. As per prosecution case, 19.4 Kg Ganja was recovered from an auto which was being driven by this petitioner.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. and huge quantity of Ganja has been recovered from an auto

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63596 of 2024(5) dt.08-01-2025 2/2 which was being driven by this petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that huge quantity of contraband has been recovered from an auto which was being driven by this petitioner, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected.
