JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 09-01-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Jakkanpur Police Station Case No. 241 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 354 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

The name of petitioner was disclosed by co-accused, who was apprehended on the place of occurrence, and, therefore, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and, accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail in connection with Jakkanpur P.S.Case No. 241 of 2015, pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna stands rejected.
