Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30A of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Liquor was recovered from the shop of the petitioner when the petitioner was not there. Liquor was also recovered from behind the house of the petitioner in an open place. Petitioner has got a criminal antecedent of identical nature.

Considering the entire facts, if the trial is not concluded within six months from the date of framing of the charges, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand)

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57179 of 2019(2) dt.13-09-2019 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned court below where the case is pending in connection with Zeeradei Police Station Case No.23 of 2019, subject to condition that both the bailors shall be resident of the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and the petitioner shall fully co-operate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
