Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code, 47A of the Excise Act and 2 (v), 3, 5, 18 of the Mahua Flower Rules, 2006.
It is alleged that 1600 K.g of mahua flowers was being transported by the pickup van of the petitioner. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner was not responsible for transmission of the same, as it was being driven by the driver. Moreover, it is apparent from the fact that the petitioner was not present on the tractor when the tractor was intercepted. Let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders before
