Petitioner filed this writ petition for a direction to the respondent authority to pay compensation of Rs.7,336/- and interest thereon to the petitioner for acquisition of her land for construction of N.H. 85.

A counter affidavit is filed. The respondents made statement in para 6 of the counter affidavit that out of total award amount, Rs.4,277/- has already been paid to the petitioner and rest amount of Rs.2,852/- to Talyab Ali, son of Late Nurul Hoda, who had purchased part of the land.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the statement made in para 6 of the counter affidavit, this writ petition may be disposed of.
