The petitioner is seeking direction to the Collector, Arwal, for granting him Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- in place of Grade Pay of Rs.4600/- in the light of a letter issued by the Finance Department, Government of Bihar, vide Memo No. 1625F dated 17.02.2014. It is the case of the petitioner that he is entitled to Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- consequent upon grant of 3rd Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme in the light of the decision of the State Government communicated through the said letter dated 17.02.2014.

3. The petitioner, who retired as Revenue Karamchari while working in office of the Circle Officer, Karpi (Arwal), appears to have made a representation before the Collector, Arwal, on 17.09.2016, a copy of which, has been brought on record by way of Annexure-3 to the writ application.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Arwal, to consider the petitioner's claim for Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- in place of Rs.4600/- in the light of the said decision of the Finance Department contained in letter dated 17.02.2014, within one month from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
