In the present application filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks quashing of the first information report of Hajipur (Town) P.S. Case No.286 of 2014 dated 8.4.2014 registered for the offences punishable under sections 376, 341, 323, 504 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegations made in the first information report do constitute a cognizable offence.
