The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 489A, 489B, 489C and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per the prosecution case, on information having been received and a raid being conducted co-accused Awinash Kumar was caught with fake currency notes. It is further stated that on inquiry he disclosed that he works with his accomplices Nilesh, the petitioner herein as also one Anuj Kumar. It is submitted by learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. The alleged recovery of fake currency notes was from

The only material against this petitioner is the statement / confession of co-accused made before police. The petitioner is in custody since 11.9.2021 and has no criminal antecedent.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the petitioner in the FIR, the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 8 months and not having any criminal antecedent, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Amas P.S. Case no. 250 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sherghati, District Gaya.
