Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B), 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is husband of the victim.
Allegation is of commission of dowry death within seven years of her marriage. Petitioner is in custody since 26.07.2017.
Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that co-accused has already faced trial in which he has been acquitted, and no prosecution witness supported the case.
Considering the nature of allegation against
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54233 of 2017 (4) dt.30-01-2018 the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
Accordingly, the application is rejected in connection with Paroo P.S.Case No.207 of 2007 pending before the court of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Muzaffarpur.
