Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 307, 448, 504, 379, 354, 435, 436, 506/120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and later on Section 411 I.P.C. was also added.

According to FIR, 20 named and 50 unknown person allegedly committed assault and mischief as well as loot in the house of the informant. Petitioners are not named in the FIR which would be evident from the impugned order also.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56924 of 2019(2) dt.13-09-2019 2/2 Learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the general and omnibus nature of allegation and the fact that the petitioners are not named in the FIR and they have got no criminal antecedent, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Town Police Station Case No.139 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
