JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 03-02-2016 Supplementary affidavit is filed on behalf of the petitioner. Similarly, counter affidavit is filed on behalf of the informant.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the informant as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

There is specific allegation against the petitioner that he threw acid on the informant's daughter, whose statement was recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. in which she specifically stated that it were petitioner and co-accused, Belal, who threw acid on her as a result of which she got severe burn injuries.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3253 of 2016 (2) dt.03-02-2016 2/2 well as submissions of the parties, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail and hence, his prayer for bail in connection with Akbarpur P.S. Case No. 226 of 2015 pending in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nawada stands rejected.
