2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Vigilance P.S. Case No. 37 of 2025/ Special Case No. 25 of 2025 registered for the offence under Section 7(a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner has been trapped while accepting bribe.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 10.06.2025 and he has been removed/dismissed from service.

5. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60067 of 2025(4) dt.28-11-2025 2/3 that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that that the petitioner has been sufficiently punished for the offence alleged to have been committed by him.

6. Learned counsel for the Vigilance Department has opposed the application of the petitioner and has submitted that the petitioner has been caught red handed accepting bribe and therefore he should not be released on bail.

7. I have heard and considered the submission of the parties.

8. Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 10.06.2025 and the fact that he has already been removed from service, this application is allowed.

9. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Vigilance, North Bihar, Muzaffarpur/concerned Court below in connection with Vigilance P.S. Case No. 37 of 2025 / Special Case No. 25 of 2025.

10. As a condition of this order, the petitioner, after being released on bail is directed to co-operate in the trial either
