JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 26-04-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 307 and some other ancillary Sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, this petitioner assaulted the informant by Khanti on his head due to prior land dispute causing grievous injury to him.

It is submitted that both sides are agnates and on the spur of moment the occurrence took place in which both sides sustained injuries. There is case and counter case and petitioner also sustained grievous injury. Petitioner is in custody since 22.09.2021 and investigation in this case is complete. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
