====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 08-12-2025 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for offences punishable under Sections 85, 126(2), 115(2), 133, 91, 352, 351(2), and 3(5) of the B.N.S. and Section 3/4 of the D.P. Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant married Shamiullah in the year 2022. The petitioner and his family allegedly demanded dowry of Rs. 2 lakhs and a four-wheeler from the informant and her family. When the demand was refused, the petitioner and his family members allegedly began to torture and abuse the informant. Some villagers intervened,

When the informant became pregnant, her husband sent her back to India, where the other family members allegedly assaulted her again. It is further alleged that during a Milad ceremony on 04.02.2025, the petitioners and other family members assaulted the informant and snatched her jhumka worth Rs. 50,000/-.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the brother-in-law of the informant and has been living separately from her husband. There is a specific allegation against the husband of the informant. The doctor has found that the miscarriage of the victim was not the result of any physical assault or external force.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the general and omnibus allegations against the petitioner, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is allowed.

7. Accordingly, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, let the above-named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs.

No.65977 of 2025(3) dt.08-12-2025 3/3 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of the learned Court of A.C.J.M., Madhubani, in connection with Rahika P.S. Case No. 141 of 2025, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S.
