2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498A, 323, 379 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. By earlier order, the matter had been sent to the Patna High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre for resolution of disputes between the parties and the mediation report would go to show that the same has been settled between the parties by way of an agreement dated 21.04.2025 in the mediation proceeding no. 174 of 2025.

4. It has been agreed between the parties that out of the

No.69031 of 2024(4) dt.29-04-2025 2/3 total amount of Rs. 11,00,000/- which is the amount for full and final settlement of dispute between the parties, the first installment of Rs. 5,00,000/- was to be paid through bank draft to the opposite party no. 2 on 25.04.2025 and the payment mode of rest of the installments has also been indicated in the agreement. Today the learned counsel for the petitioner presents a draft bearing Draft No. 431278 of Rs. 5,00,000/- which is the first installment in the way of settlement of disputes. The said draft is being handed over to opposite party no. 2, who is present in the court, and she has received the same and has also put her signature on the photocopy of the draft which will be kept on record.

5. In such view of the settlement between the parties, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Complaint Case No. 2467 of 2023, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C. and subject to the further condition that the petitioner shall cooperate in the

6. It is expected that both the parties would abide by the terms and conditions as agreed between them in the agreement.
