The petitioner seeks bail in Dumra P.S. Case No. 266 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304(B), 328 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of dowry death. Petitioner is brother-in-law (Dewar) of the deceased.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that thrust of accusation is against husband of the deceased who is already in custody. There is general and omnibus allegation and no specific overt act has been attributed against this petitioner. He is separate in mess and property and has got no concern with the family affairs of the deceased and her husband. Petitioner is in custody since 28.10.2021 having no criminal antecedent. Investigation is complete.
