2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Barhiya P.S. Case No. 229 of 2022 dated 23.10.2022, lodged under Sections 302, 201 and 34 of the I.P.C.

3. As per the prosecution case, one identified dead body was recovered. The allegation against the petitioner is that he has killed his wife and son and the dead body of his wife was recovered.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He submits that the antecedent of the petitioner is clean and he is in custody since 01.11.2022.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No. 67263 of 2023(3) dt.13-12-2023 2/2 bail and submits that the dead body of the son is still missing and the materials have come to connect the petitioner with the alleged crime.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case that this is a case of double murder and the petitioner is the husband and father of the deceased, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and therefore, the present bail application is hereby rejected.

7. The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial as early as possible.
