2. The grievance of the petitioners is that the award in respect of the lands of petitioners was prepared in Land Acquisition Case No. 26/2011-2012 in the name of the father of petitioners, Md. Hifajat Ansari, but before preparation of award, the father of petitioners died and, thereafter, the petitioners made representation before the Respondent No.9, the District Land Acquisition Officer,

Patna High Court CWJC No.553 of 2017 dt.20-03-2017 2/2 Bhagalpur, for making payment of amount of award to them as they are only legal heirs of the deceased Md. Hifajat Ansari in whose name the award in respect of the land of the petitioners was made but the Respondent No.9, the District Land Acquisition Officer, Bhagalpur, did not pass any order on the representation filed on behalf of the petitioners.

3. In view of the aforesaid facts as well as submissions of the parties, this petition stands disposed of giving direction to the respondent no. 9, the District Land Acquisition Officer, Bhagalpur to dispose of the representation filed on behalf of the petitioners in accordance with law within two months from the date of receipt/ production of copy of this order.
