The instant application for anticipatory bail has been filed by the petitioner apprehending his arrest in connection with Chapra Cyber P.S. Case no. 160 of 2024 instituted for the offence under Sections 153, 153(A), 504, 505(2) (i) (c), 506 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 67 of the IT Act. The prosecution case is that this petitioner has uploaded objectionable material on social media Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in connection with the present case. It is further submitted that similar situated co-accused namely, Muneshwar Ray @ Yaduvanshi Muneshwar has been granted bail vide order dated

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63993 of 2024(3) dt.22-11-2024 2/2 18.10.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 69123 of 2024. It is further submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph -3 of the application.

Learned APP appearing for the State opposed the prayer of bail of the petitioner.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and in the facts and circumstances of the case as stated above, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The petitioner is directed to surrender in the Court below within a period of four weeks from today and in the event of his arrest or surrender in connection with Syran Cyber P.S. Case no. 160 of 2024, he will be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-IV, Saran at Chapra, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
