The present writ application has been filed with a limited prayer in which petitioner has demanded payment of differential amount of his Provident Fund Rs.30,119/- only with interest.

It transpires that the petitioner was retired from the post of Chaukidar on 31.11.2019 from the office of Deputy Director Oil Seeds, Mithapur, Bihar, Patna (Respondent no.2). It has also been contended that petitioner has filed representation before the said respondent no.2 but his representation is still pending before him.

Counsel for the State submits that a direction may be

Patna High Court CWJC No.16256 of 2022(2) dt.02-02-2023 2/2 pass, so that the said respondent no.2 may pass a reasoned order on the said representation.

In this view of the matter, this writ application is disposed off directing the respondent no.2 to pass order on the representation filed by the petitioner dated 28.12.2020 (annexed in Annexure-5).

Deputy Director shall pass order within four weeks from the date of receiving of the order passed by this court. With this direction, the present writ application is disposed off.
