JUSTICE JITENDRA MOHAN SHARMA ORAL ORDER 19-06-2017 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned A.P.P. for the State.

In this application for anticipatory bail the petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1700-C of 2015 for the offences punishable under section 498 A of the I.P.C and section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The report of the learned Mediator has been received. The dispute between the parties has been resolved through the process of the mediation. The terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties is stated in the Mediator's report. The learned counsel for the petitioner is present.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2746 of 2017 (4) dt.19-06-2017 2/2 The learned counsel for the opposite party no.2 submits that the parties be directed to obey the terms of settlement arrived at between the parties.

In view of report of the learned Mediator, the petitioner, in case of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of. C.J.M. West Champaran, Bettiah in connection with above mentioned case, subject to the conditions as laid down in section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.

Both parties shall obey the terms of settlement, failing which the court below will take appropriate action in accordance with law.
