Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Barauni P.S. Case no.156 of 2016, registered under Sections 467, 468, 471 & 406/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation of informant, namely, Devendra Ram is that this petitioner along with one Amresh Kumar Jha took cash of Rs. 3,50,000/- for managing job of Group-D post in Railway department and both of them also handed over a joining letter to him and got managed to join the son of the informant at Lilua, Kolkata, but in spite of passing over three months no work was taken by the son of the informant then on inquiry his son come to know that his appointment

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2396 of 2017 (2) dt.14-02-2017 2/2 letter is forged. Thereafter, informant demanded his money from the petitioner and Amresh Jha, but they did not return any money to the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no paper regarding the money received by the petitioner has been produced by the informant. Moreover, the son of the informant filed Complaint Case No. 1284C/2015 regarding cheating of Rs. 7,50,000/- by the accused persons, but he has not disclosed the name of the petitioner. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Barauni P.S. Case No.156 of 2016, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
