Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present writ petition in view of the fact that the petitioner has already filed a detailed representation before the Chairman, Dakshin Bihar Gramin Bank in view of the liberty granted to the petitioner by this Court vide order dated 05.02.2001 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 2326 of 1996, which is, inter alia, reproduced hereinafter: "As prayed by Mr. S. C. Mitra, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the writ petition is permitted to be withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to move the authority concerned for reconsideration of his case, if acquitted in criminal case and the authority concerned will

Considering the fact that the present writ petition is pending since year 2012, the petitioner, if so desires, may file a fresh representation before the Chairman, Dakshin Bihar Gramin Bank for redressal of the relief as prayed for in the present writ petition in view of the liberty granted by this Court vide order dated 05.02.2001. The concerned authority must dispose of the representation of the petitioner well within a period of six weeks and take a final decision and communicate the same to the petitioner.
