This application is for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Singheshwar P.S.Case No.222 of 2016 for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The petitioners have prayed for anticipatory bail for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, however, after coming into force the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016, as per the provisions under Section 76(2) of the aforesaid Act, the anticipatory bail is not maintainable.

Having heard both sides. In view of the aforesaid facts, the petitioners are directed to surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks and make prayer for regular bail, which will be considered by the learned court below without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
