The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sugauli P.S. Case No.242 of 2020 registered under Section 7 (A) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He further submits that the petitioner being Inspector of Sugauli Police Station, having seen some irregularity taken by the then S.H.O., Sugauli in station diary, had forwarded a report dated 02.04.2020 (Annexure 2) against the said S.H.O. to the S.P., Motihari that's why the local police authority has falsely implicated the petitioner in the present case.

No.71547 of 2021(16) dt.25-04-2023 2/2 Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Vigilance, Muzaffarpur in connection with Special Case No.11 of 2020 arising out of Sugauli P.S. Case No.242 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. (Arvind Srivastava, J) Harish/- U T
