JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 18-09-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1. That the present application is being filed for issuance of an appropriate writ /order /direction commanding the respondents to provide protection to the life and property of the petitioner, who is a senior citizen, from the torturous act of the respondent no. 6, who has also taken forceful possession of the house/flat of the petitioner."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the

Patna High Court CWJC No.13636 of 2024(2) dt.18-09-2024 2/2 petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Sub Divisional Officer, Patna Sadar/the concerned Maintenance Tribunal, by filing appropriate petition under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act, 2007. Liberty, so sought, is granted. 3.

It is needless to state that in case appropriate petition is filed by the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from today, before the Sub Divisional Officer, Patna Sadar/the concerned Maintenance Tribunal, the same shall be considered in accordance with law and after hearing the affected parties, appropriate orders shall be passed thereon within a period of three months, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
