The petitioner is in custody since 31.10.2018 in connection with Excise Case No.950 of 2018 (P.R. 27/18/-19) registered under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the alleged recoveries were made from the car of which he was merely a passenger. It is submitted that nothing has been recovered from his possession.

Considering the aforementioned facts and circumstances and that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.76877 of 2018(2) dt.10-01-2019 2/2 on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge (Excise), Kaimur at Bhabua in connection with Excise Case No.950 of 2018.
