Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Derni P.S. Case No. 27 of 2015 registered under Sections- 323, 379, 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that informant was married to the petitioner, but she remained issueless. She always requested accused persons for her better treatment. Accused persons used to tease her by saying that petitioner will perform another marriage. Ultimately, she was assaulted and ousted from her matrimonial home after snatching her jewelry and clothes worth Rs. 50,000/-.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3836 of 2017 (2) dt.15-02-2017 2/2 petitioner is a labourer and always spent money on her treatment. Deceased died issueless due to lymphocytes disease at her parental house.

Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that petitioner torture the deceased and did not took proper care for her treatment. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the State, I do not feel inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. His prayer for anticipatory bail is, therefore, rejected. (Arvind Srivastava, J) Manish/- U T
