The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case under section 498-A and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioners are father-in-law and mother-inlaw of the informant. The informant made allegation against her husband that her husband subjected her to cruelty and torture due to non-fulfillment of dowry demand. Their marriage was solemnized in the year 2009. The present case was filed in the year 2014.

Considering the facts aforesaid and that the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.50930 of 2014 (3) dt.22-06-2015 petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the informant, the petitioners, above named, are directed to surrender in the court below within four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and the court below shall enlarge the petitioners on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri M. Kumar, Judicial Magistrate, Saharsa in connection with Mahishi P.S. Case No. 85 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2)of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
