Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 120(B), 272, 273 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Huge quantity of liquor was recovered from a vehicle. The petitioners were pushed in this case for the reason that the driver disclosed to the police that the liquor on his vehicle was being carried to some distinction and the petitioner was talking on Mobile Phone with the driver of the vehicle on which recovery of liquor was made. Petitioners have stated on oath
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59454 of 2019(2) dt.27-09-2019 2/2 that they have got no criminal antecedent.
Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of investigation on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned court below where the case is pending in connection with Khodawandpur P.S. Case No. 141 of 2019, subject to condition that both the bailors shall be resident of the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and the petitioners shall fully co-operate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
