2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 191 92), 190, 126 (2), 115 92), 117 (2), 109 (1), 303 (2), 351 (3), 352, 351 (2) of the BNS, 2023.
3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner allegedly assaulted the informant's wife with a 'lathi' on the head.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on perusal of the injury report, as contained in Annexure-P/2, it transpires that the doctor has opined the injury to be simple in nature, caused by a hard and blunt substance. It is further submitted that the petitioner is an old person and has been

5. Learned APP appearing on behalf of the State fairly concedes to the submission of the petitioner and submits that the injury sustained indeed is simply in nature caused by a hard and blunt substance.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Telhara P.S. Case No. 89 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate - I, Hilsa, Nalanda.
