The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the POCSO Act. Allegation against the petitioner is that he attempted to commit rape by entering into the house of the informant.

Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner, in my view, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Purnahiya P.S. Case No.64 of 2016 pending in the court of learned Additional District

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9771 of 2017 (3) dt.26-04-2017 & Sessions Judge-1st -cum-Special Judge, POCSO, Sheohar is refused.
