JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR) Date : 22-02-2022 Heard Mr. Ashok Kumar Mishra, learned Advocate for the petitioner and Mr. Anisul Haque for the State. The license of the petitioner has been cancelled for which he has appealed before the District Magistrate, Khagaria vide Appeal No. 2/21-22. The aforesaid appeal was filed on 26.07.2021, but that has yet not been disposed of.

We do not appreciate such lethargy, especially with respect to quasi judicial functions of the concerned respondents.

Patna High Court CWJC No.21140 of 2021 dt.22-02-2022 2/2 We are, therefore, constrained to direct respondent no. 3 to decide the appeal preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

Needless to state that the petitioner shall be heard as also the other stake-holders and a reasoned order shall be passed.

If the aforesaid timeline is not maintained by the concerned respondent, a serious view in this matter shall be taken by this Court.

With the aforesaid direction/observation, the writ petition stands disposed off.
