The petitioner seeks bail in Samastipur (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 437 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

950.49 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from a room adjacent to the house of co-accused Jakir Hussain. It is submitted that petitioner is not named in the FIR and no recovery has been made from conscious possession of this petitioner. Name of petitioner surfaced in this case during course of investigation. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and he is in custody since 30.07.2021. Investigation is complete.

Case No. 437 of 2020.
