The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 830 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 20 litres of illicit Mahua liquor from a bag said to be belonging to the petitioner herein.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. The petitioner is stated to be having a clean antecedent and he is languishing in custody since 28.10.2018.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.77081 of 2018(2) dt.11-01-2019 2/2 case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge, Araria in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 830 of 2018, Special Case No. 1354 of 2018.
