It is submitted by the Counsel for the petitioner that the final decision in respect of the petitioner's claim for giving the benefit of regularisation with effect from 4.3.1974, i.e. the date of his initial joining on casual post against the leave vacancy created by death of his father, is pending consideration before the Secretary, Science and Technology Department, Government of Bihar. The representation dated 16.7.2014 is Annexure 11 to the writ petition.

Counsel for the State submits that final decision on

Patna High Court CWJC No.787 of 2015(3) dt.08-01-2019 2/2 the said application, which has been filed pursuant to the liberty granted to the petitioner in CWJC No. 14382 of 2010 will be taken in accordance with law and expeditiously. The writ petition therefore is disposed of.

It is expected that the Director, respondent No. 3, who has also been served with copy of the representation, shall take a final decision in respect of the claim of the petitioner expeditiously and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
