JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 11-09-2015 Having heard counsel for the petitioner and counsel for the State, this writ application can be disposed of with an observation that the departmental authorities will surely consider whether a case for grant of exemption from passing of the departmental examination is now made out in favour of the petitioner as the issue is pending before the Inspector General, Prison, Government of Bihar, Patna since 2013.

Once such a decision is taken, the claim of the petitioner for promotion will surely be considered and if he is found eligible,

Patna High Court CWJC No.1550 of 2015 dt.11-09-2015 2/2 appropriate order would be passed in the next DPC, which may be held in this regard.

Writ application shall stand disposed of with above observation.
