2. Petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Ara Town (Ara Nagar) P.S. Case No. 182 of 2025 instituted for the offences under Sections 115(2), 126(2), 103(1), 109 & 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 27 of Arms Act

3. The prosecution case, in brief, is that on 15.03.2025 at about 9:00 PM, while informant was going home with his friends, these petitioners along with co-accused Golu Thakur opened fire on them, causing bullet injuries to informant and his friends, leading to the death of one Sikandar @ Ajay Shankar

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are innocent and have committed no offence. Petitioner no. 1 is in custody since 07.07.2025 and petitioner no. 2 is in custody since 11.04.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State as well as learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that petitioners are assailants of the deceased.

6. Considering the nature of accusation and materials available on record, prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected.

7. However, since petitioner no. 1 is in custody since 07.07.2025 and petitioner no. 2 is in custody since 11.04.2025, Trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial, preferably, within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
