Patna High Court CWJC No.5940 of 2015 (3) dt.07-07-2015 07-07-2015 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Having regard to the fact that the respondents in their counter affidavit, now not only admit the liability to make payment of the interest on the head of provident fund but have also undertaken to pay such amount within a period of one week, all these writ applications relating to payment of interest on the head of provident fund are disposed of with a direction to the Registrar of the Magadh University that he shall personally ensure that all the admissible payment of interest to the petitioners on the head of provident fund is made within a period of one week from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. If for any reason, whatsoever, such payment of interest on the head of provident fund is not made to the petitioners in the aforesaid period, the salary of the Registrar of Magadh University shall remain withheld till such payment would be made to the petitioners.

With the aforementioned observation and direction, all these writ applications are disposed of.
