Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered under Sections 379, 307/34 of Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of Arms Act.

It is submitted that the petitioner is aged 70 years and the informant got a gift deed executed by mother of the petitioner on account of which there is a subsisting land dispute between the informant and the petitioner. Informant happens to be the nephew of the petitioner.

The learned APP for the State as well as the learned counsel for the informant has drawn attention of the Court

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57284 of 2019(3) dt.20-11-2019 2/2 towards the injury report which supports firearm injury on the hand of the informant. As per the allegation in the first informant report, the gunshot injury is attributed to the petitioner.

Considering the rival submissions, this Court is not inclined to allow prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner. The same is rejected.
