Mr.Sharda Kumari ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 15-09-2025 At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to make necessary correction in the petition.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

3. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 80(2)/238/3(5) of the B.N.S.

4. As per prosecution case, sister of informant was married with co-accused Bihari Chaudhary in the year 2019 and after the marriage, she was subjected to cruelty and harassment by the accused persons for dowry and lastly on 02.04.2025, the accused persons killed informant's daughter by hanging her.

5. Petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased. There is general and omnibus allegation. Thrust of the accusation is against husband of the deceased, who is already in custody. As a matter of fact, the deceased has committed suicide. Petitioner is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60824 of 2025(2) dt.15-09-2025 2/2 separate in mess and property and has got no concern with the family affairs of deceased and her husband. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

6. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner.

7. However, considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, XIV, Hajipur, Vaishali in connection with Jurawanpur P.S. Case No. 63/2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure/ Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023.
