2. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Laharisarai P.S. Case No. 361 of 2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 318(2), 319(2), 338, 336(3), 340(2) and 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, (BNS), 2023 and Section 10 of Bihar Conduct of Examination Act, 1981.

3. The allegation against the petitioner is of impersonation. Allegedly, he was caught red handed while he was appearing in C-TET examination in place of another candidate.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He has further submitted that on exactly similar

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64417 of 2024(2) dt.18-09-2024 2/2 footing, co-accused Palak Singh @ Sunita Kumari, has been granted bail by this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 61697 of 2024. He has also submitted that the petitioner is a person of clean antecedent and is under custody since 08.07.2024.

5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga in connection with Laharisarai P.S. Case No. 361 of 2024, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
