Petitioner seeks bail in Sessions Trial No. 499 of 2018 arising out of Masaurhi PS Case No. 351 of 2015 registered under Sections 304(B) and 201/34 of the IPC.

Petitioner's prayer for bail was earlier rejected on 6.4.2018. The prayer has been renewed.

The deceased was wife of the petitioner. The case has been registered under Section 304(B)/201 IPC. Counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no allegation of demand of dowry against the petitioner and that the petitioner is in custody since 17.8.2017.

Being husband of the victim the petitioner had the prime responsibility towards the deceased. FIR discloses that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.79478 of 2018(3) dt.19-06-2019 2/2 the victim was done to death for demand of dowry and the body of the victim was also concealed.

Considering the gravity of allegation this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

The prayer for bail is rejected.
