2. The petitioner had applied for her selection for the post of ANM pursuant to an advertisement dated 17.02.2016. Training in ANM midwifery course, was the minimum educational qualification prescribed under the advertisement inviting applications, with clear stipulation that a candidate must have the certificate of having passed the said course, by the last date fixed for submission of application forms. The last date fixed for submission of application forms was 18.03.2016. The petitioner did not have the certificate/qualification of having passed ANM midwifery training course by that date. In such view of the matter, the petitioner's candidature was not considered. The

Patna High Court CWJC No.17753 of 2019 dt.23-10-2019 2/2 petitioner had admittedly acquired the said qualifications, subsequently after 15.06.2016. Her candidature has, therefore, been considered and when he approached the Public Information Officer about her status as a candidate, she has been informed through letter dated 21.06.2019 that because she did not have the certificate of having passed the examination training course in question, her candidature has not been considered. The petitioner has questioned non-consideration of her candidature.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that since the petitioner's application was processed after she had applied against the said post, and subsequently, she acquired the requisite qualification, her candidature ought not to have been cancelled.

5. I find no merit in this writ application in view of the admitted fact that the petitioner did not hold the minimum eligibility qualification in terms of the advertisement till the last date fixed for submission of the application forms.

6. This writ application has no merit, and is dismissed, accordingly.
