This is an application for grant of regular bail filed on behalf of the petitioners. Petitioners are in custody in connection with Biraul PS Case No. 272 of 2018 for the alleged offence punishable under Section 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a), 38(i) and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
In the instant case, some cartons of liquor were recovered from a Bolero van. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that petitioners have no criminal antecedent and they are in custody since 10.11.2018. Petitioners have no concern with the trade of liquor and they have been falsely

Considering the fact that petitioners have no criminal antecedent and they have remained in jail since 10.11.2018, this application is allowed. Let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge IV-cum-Special Judge, Darbhanga, in connection with Biraul PS Case No. 272 of 2018.
