The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Case No. C2/563/18 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 36.600 litres of illicit Nepali Soufi liquor from the possession of the petitioner after he was apprehended by the Police. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. The petitioner is stated to be having a clean antecedent and he is languishing in custody since 21.10.2018.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.79415 of 2018(2) dt.11-01-2019 2/2 case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs.
