JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 13-01-2015 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner being husband of the informant is languishing in custody since 4.12.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307,498A,406,420 and 494 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

It is alleged that the informant was married to the petitioner 30.1.2013 and thereafter demand of rupees eight lacs was made as additional dowry and for non fulfillment of the same attempt was made to kill the informant by strangulation and made attempt to put her on fire.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that no injury report is on record and the petitioner has not performed second marriage.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1233 of 2015 (2) dt.13-01-2015 2/2 Considering the nature of accusation and period under custody, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Muzaffarpur in connection with Ahiyapur P.S. Case No. 557 of 2014.
