In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Dhaka P.S. Case No.322 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.

The petitioner has three criminal antecedent of the same nature. In the present case, the Police on the basis of information, has inspected the place, from where huge quantity of liquor has been recovered.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.79041 of 2018(2) dt.09-01-2019 2/2 before the Court below within four weeks from today and prays for regular bail, the Court below will consider the same and pass appropriate order without being influenced by the order of this Court.
